Fang Xudong (Huadong Master Fan Daxue):
They are very happy to accompany you to attend the new book seminar of “The New Confucianism in the Drunbi Hong Kong”. Regarding the New Confucianism in Drumi Hong Kong, my important meaning is: the Confucian differences between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits. The New Confucianism in Drumi Hong Kong has no way to rely on power, and is closer to the Confucianism in the Scholar era rather than the Scholar era (to borrow the installment of the history of Chinese philosophy by Rongyoulan). In them, the form of Confucianism in the future seems to be seen. Chen Yong (Shanghai Major):
In recent years, due to the study of Money Mu, I have visited Drumi Hong Kong every time and visited Drumi Hong Kong Chinese Academy of Xinya Bookstore and Xinya Research Institute. I have some clarity on the development of Drumi Hong Kong New Confucianism. The second half of the 20th centuryIn the development of Confucianism, Drunbi Hong Kong is a major residence. When Mr. Chen recommended this new book, he said: “People who are familiar with the history of modern new Confucianism know that Drunbi Hong Kong is one of its main dancers. Until today, Confucianism still dripped and fired in Drunbi Hong Kong.” This is a very pertinent evaluation.
In 1949, a group of students left the world with the state of “flowers fall and spring is dead”, traveling south to Drumi Hong Kong, and thrive in “the land that belongs to China but is not considered China in the past century”, promote Chinese civilization, and realize the ambition to “spread Chinese civilization in South China” and continue Chinese civilization within the country. Among this group of South Korean students, Xuan Mu and Tang Junyi are the representatives. After Xi Mu and Tang Junyi arrived at Dangbi Hong Kong, they were energetic to extend their lives for Chinese civilization. Under the difficult difficulties of “empty hands and nothing”, they excitedly developed the passion of “carrying a thousand pounds of sons with shoulders” and founded the Xinya Bookstore in Dangbi Hong Kong, and built a long city to promote Chinese civilization in the Dangbi River. Under the influence of the academic and energy of Xinya founders and comrades such as Momo and Tang Junyi, a group of desperate and local young people trained were spreading each other, making serious contributions to the humanities education and the development of Confucianism in Hong Kong.
Xu Xie once wrote an article: “Xinya relies on the name of Teacher Mu, the fantasy of Teacher Tang Junyi, the strong energy of Teacher Zhang Pi, and the pain that day she couldn’t get out of bed. The man who was on a business trip suddenly appeared and supported him.” They had a fantasy of talking about the Chinese situation and checked from civilization, and a merciful wish to make Chinese civilization obtain its normal position from three hundred years of grievances, so that the emergence of the Xinya Academy would appear. “It can be settled like this. There is a bit of Chinese civilization atmosphere in Hong Kong. A few Chinese people are willing to stand on the Chinese standpoint to do Chinese studies. It started with the Xinya School.”
As Professor Xu Xie said, the founder of Xinya School continued Chinese language. Mingming’s ambition to be a country was realized later. He went to the storm of the business society, civilization and air indifferent, and was regarded as the “civilized Gobi Desert” by people. With the unremitting efforts of the South Korean scholars such as Money Mu and Tang Junyi, it eventually became a town that promoted Confucianism and inherited Chinese civilization. The New Asia Bookstore has become the main building and origin of the New Confucianism in Hong Kong. Therefore, when talking about the New Confucianism of Drumbi Hong Kong and the New Confucianism of Drumbi Hong Kong, we must first talk about the New Asian Book Academy founded by teachers of Masters and Chief Tang.
Another major energy to promote the development of Confucianism in Hong Kong should be the “Golden Master Review” created by Professor Xu Yao. “Jinyuan Review” is a bimonthly issue and was founded by Xu Xiu in Dingbi Hong Kong in June 1949. In the first two years of the creation of the publication, the discussion on real political colors and more political articles were discussed. Later, it turned to discussions on civilization issues and moved towards reviving Chinese civilization, especially the way of promoting Confucian energy, and gradually developed into the “new Confucian speech platform” in Hong Kong.
The Development of “Jinyuan Review” and Xinya InstituteIt is closely related and mutually conditional. Especially in the early days of New Asia, the activities of his students were paid by relevant departments. At the same time, his maintained their civilized concepts and academic initiatives were broadcast through the “Green Review”. Xu Xieguan once said that “The Review of the People” “at that time, the three teachers, Masters, Xuan Mu, Tang Junyi and Mou Zongsan were the middle ground.” Many works of Money, Tang and Mou were first published in “The Review of the People” with the meaning of the articles and then collected them. Taiwanese scholar Wei Zheng said that the “Golden Review” “can be said to be a base for reviving Chinese civilization outside China. With the development of a large number of Chinese scholars in the New Asia Bookstore in Drunbi Hong Kong, I think this has a long-lasting meaning in history.” The New Asian scholars, who are the central teachers of Master Xuan Mu and Tang Junyi, have a great ambition to promote Chinese civilization in the country and the civilized consciousness of “Jinyuan Review”. In promoting Chinese civilization with Confucianism as the main trunk, the two are in common and complement each other.
When talking about the new Confucianism in Hong Kong, the half-monthly “Life” founded by the domineering person should not be neglected. The bimonthly magazine “Life” was founded by Domineering in Drumbo Hong Kong on January 16, 1950. Since the publication, Badao has maintained a close contact with Xinya Bookstore, and he has always celebrated his life with Momo. Momo and Tang Junyi are both members of “Life”. New Asian scholars and Taiwanese literary friends are the foundational authors of the plot of “Life”. Zhang Junqiong said in “History of New Confucian Thoughts: Re-Preface”: “In Drunken Hong Kong, the middle of the evaluation and worship of Confucianism, led by Mr. Mo Mu and his colleague Mr. Tang Junyi, has been established, and the teacher of the domineering teacher, was in Drunken Hong Kong. The journal “Life” hosted by Hong Kong has become a major institution of this movement. “It can be seen that “Life” and “Jinistry Review” have become the main speech for the publication of works by Hong Kong’s New Confucianism, and have cooperated to promote the development of Hong Kong’s New Confucianism.
The Hong Kong New Confucianism movement, promoted by Xinya School, “Jinyuan Reviews” and “Life”, was founded in 1958. This is the result of href=”https://twpinkhoney.net/”>BaoqingThe “Declaration on the World to People of China’s Civilization – Our Cooperational Knowledge of Chinese Academic Research and the Future of Chinese Civilization and World Civilization” was jointly signed by Tang Junyi, a “Declaration on the Commentary on the Civilization” and “Rebirth” magazines on New Year’s Eve on 1958.
